February Monthly Recap
February was a heartwarming and enriching month here at Happy Tots Montessori!
Our classrooms were filled with love and kindness as the children joyfully prepared handmade valentines for their friends. From crafting colorful cards to exchanging sweet messages, it was beautiful to see them express their care and thoughtfulness for one another. These special moments helped reinforce important Montessori values like empathy, gratitude, and community.
In honor of Black History Month, we explored the lives and contributions of influential Black leaders, artists, scientists, and changemakers. Through age-appropriate stories, music, art, and discussions, the children were introduced to inspiring figures such as Rosa Parks, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and Mae Jemison. It was a meaningful opportunity to celebrate diversity and plant seeds of inclusion, respect, and awareness.
As always, our days were also filled with purposeful work, movement, and discovery. We are so proud of how much each child is growing — in independence, confidence, and curiosity.
Thank you to all our families for your continued support. We look forward to blossoming into a new season together!
With love,
The Happy Tots Montessori Team
